Patterned Paper Challenge February 2021

 Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge

Here is my make as part of the Design Team of
 Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge!!

a monthly challenge to encourage crafters to use their patterned paper

Do take part as you may win a prize... This month it is this:

The Paper Boutique
Festive wishes
paper pad
36 sheets * 6 designs

This is a Herringbone card and is the current theme for Mrs A's Butterfly Challenge  and I will link this card there.
Mrs A gives instructions for these here with the following associated wheel.
This is version 111.

Firstly I followed Mrs A's instructions to form the Quilter's design Herringbone pattern. I used papers from my scraps which were of the colours Heatwave, Hansa yellow and Hazel.

I trimmed this and actually turned it upside down to fit my card blank. This has a punched edging - I put more of the background paper behind this.

Before sticking down I wrapped the hemp string around it and tied a bow.
I added a gold die cut butterfly and a gold sentiment.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Nice job with this, Susan. Those papers are a good choice for this design.
