Blog Along With Effy Post 23

Once again Effy is doing a month-long Blog Challenge on Facebook.

My first picture today is the Queen Victoria Market in Melbourne. Unfortunately we cannot visit it at the moment as it is more than 10 k away - but it is still open despite the Covid restrictions - for essential produce. About 5 years ago we were visiting Australia from the UK - and I bought a jumper in the market. We returned to the Uk and I wore it to go in a local Interiors shop. I blended into the decor!!

Today was a beautiful day - so once again we met our daughter for a picnic...

Kevin was just about to eat a boiled egg, forgetting that he had a mask on!

It was warm enough for a paddle...

As regards crafting - I finished two journal pages.
The first one involved some images from Michelle Grant Designs. I used shimmery water colour paint to add colour and the background is a Gelli plate pull.

The second one also uses a Gelli pull background. The sentiment is one of my favourite quotations and the image is the freebie from the Gecko Galz Monthly challenge.

Happy Crafting!

  1. I'm jealous of your beach day! Makes me feel like running away to the Mediterranean this weekend. :)

  2. I love how you blended in with the painting. I love the beach pictures and your journals.

  3. Ah I loved Melbourne when I visited it in 2012.
You've made me want to go to the beach now, but the north Atlantic is likely to be a tad cooler!

  4. Of course I meant the North sea... Ha ha I'm in UK ๐Ÿ˜‚
