Color Dare Challenge #460

This is another make for the

Do pop over to the Color Dare Challenge and take a look at my teamies' makes!

This is today's colour scheme

My card today uses the colours Smoothie, Canary, Pebble and Fern, plus black and white.

Hope you will join the Color Dare Challenge...

I used a piece of white card and one of the first stencils I ever had - a favourite. (Leaves ? from Craftstash). I used brushes and four colours of Distress Oxide, in matching colours, through this stencil.

I stamped over this background in black Archival with a Scrap Fx foam stamp. I then trimmed this to size and placed it on a layer of black card. I placed this on a white card blank. The sentiment is a Stamplorations stamp, stamped in black on white and placed on black card.

Happy Crafting!

  1. This is a great card Susan. I love the ink blending and it works brilliantly with the stamp over the top. x

  2. Love the background you created. Lovely card!

  3. I love this! the colorful background is perfect for the black silhouette of the flowers.

  4. Love the stamped floral silhourette against your pretty personalized stenciled background... very pretty and excellent sentiment.

  5. Such great use of the stencil, I love how you did the black flower like a shadow and a lovely card all around.

  6. Love the rainbow background with the black stamped on top. Must give this technique a try.
