~~~~~~~
Today I am showing you some of my main 31DOH project illustrating
The Hunting Of The Snark -  a Poem by Lewis Carroll
I put the book together using chipboard and black tape and by sewing in some pages. I then decorated back, front and spine with an acrylics and alcohol background. On the front I had embossed the sentiment using black embossing powder. This is a Visible Image stamp. I then added some doodling and the title on the spine, printed, trimmed and distressed around the edges with tea dye.
Lewis Carroll published The Hunting of The Snark (An Agony in Eight Fits) on April 1st, 1876.
It was illustrated by Henry Holiday - and I have put a copy of the original cover on my first page - inside the cover is a page of marbling.
On the final page , I added the title again on a SU paper, distressed with Tea Dye.
Next I have the first few pages... in each case the right hand side has the words printed, trimmed and distressed with tea dye. On the left hand side I have a section of SU paper.
On the left hand side here I have added an ATC illustrating '42 boxes left on the beach'. Brown card, marbling background and my doodling.
On the left hand side here I added the ATC I showed you yesterday - when the Beaver first makes his appearance in the poem.
Watch out for the next SPOT PRIZE...
Happy Hopping!
