4. Quote from the Cheshire Cat printed, cut out and distressed with Wild Honey Distress Ink.

SPOT PRIZE Number 3!!

My question - another poem for you...From which poem is the follow stanza?

Oh, fruit loved of boyhood! the old days recalling,
When wood-grapes were purpling and brown nuts were falling!
When wild, ugly faces we carved in its skin,
Glaring out through the dark with a candle within!

Answer and winner to be announced in one of the next posts...

Happy Hopping!

  4. Love the dancing skeletons. Your kitty is scary and sweet at the same time. The poem is The Pumpkin
BY John Whittier. I had to look up the author but I remember the poem a bit. Did anyone have to memorize and recite in school. I'm showing my age I think.
