Blog Along with Effy, September 7th

Once again I am joining in with Effy's Blog Along. I thought I would share some more 'diary' posts, along with some of the crafty things I have been doing.

The above photo turned up on Facebook Memories from 6 years ago in Bali. It shows some newly planted paddy fields. Yesterday I watched a London Drawing Group workshop on David Hockney. Maybe I could use this image as a Hockney-esque painting...

I mentioned my Crown Derby yesterday - I also have some on my dressing table - these came from my Mum's dressing table. The photos are of my Grandparents - that second picture shows my favourite picture of my Grandma.

I haven't had a lot of spare time today as we spent a lot of time on zoom talking to the builders about tiles, carpets and taps! However I did use one of the gelli pulls to make a card.

I added pink paint with a paintbrush through a stencil. I then trimmed this, put it on a black card base and added some black pen work.

Another Facebook memory - a photo taken on a North Wales beach. I thought it would make a good background!!

Finally spring has sprung... The peach tree in our garden!

More tomorrow!
Happy Crafting!
