Like last year I intend adding 5 kitty makes to the hop.
This is my first make for the Cat Lovers Hop.
Anyway like last year, I thought I would share some more vintage Halloween
postcards from Vintage Image Craft
These are the first ones with cute kitties.
of trash on the nature strip outside the house and it will be collected on a specific date - things like mattresses and old white goods etc. Anyway I am not sure it's totally legal but it is an excellent way of upcycling - we put out 4 bikes and a barbecue (past their sell by dates!) and they were gone in minutes.
I spotted some garden ornaments (a cat, fish and a bird). I rescued them, renovated the cat using bits of the other two and replaced the remainder on our nature strip. These bits were gone in minutes too!
Today's make is an ATC using a freebie image from Jen Leeflang on Outlawz
I will add this to the main hop post.

Love your rainbow kitties; they are so bright and festive, and the background paper is pretty too. Love your card! I also love your upcycled project; you are so creative! What a great way to give stuff new life, and it turned out awesome!

ReplyDeleteAwesome rescue from the trash and beautiful job upcycling! We sometimes check out the stuff in our neighbourhood too - we've found some great items that people were tossing. Everyone here puts their stuff out a few days early for others to check out. It's a great way to keep stuff out of the landfills. Definitely not illegal here! Your rainbow kitties are adorable too!

ReplyDeleteOh, what a fabulous project you made with the upcycled discards. Love that you included a little video so we could see the bobbing head! Such a colorful coat on that cat....which coordinates very nicely with the rainbow of kitties on your wonderful ATC. I always enjoy seeing your vintage kitty items. Kittens playing games seems esp appropriate!
