'For someone special' made me think of my daughter Sophie which reminded me of this die by Sophie Guilar.
My Sophie and I have made a number of cards with a circular design cut from a card blank - usually with a die that leaves part of the cut. This die actually cuts the whole circle out - so I made two cards using both a blue and and a black glossy card blank.
I placed silver embossed card behind the apertures and placed the opposite colour die cut in these holes. I added the ornament tops, ribbons and sentiments.
