Embossing folders.

I just came across the Let's Squash it Embossing Challenge

The current challenge is to Double Emboss. My favourite technique with an embossing folder is to smear Distress Ink (or Oxide) across the folder and then run it through the Big Shot - Another run through can then be made after spritzing the folder with water. This is the sort of background that is produced:

Anyway I thought I would have a go at Double Embossing - using first a Darice Flamingo embossing folder which I recently picked up from a clearance bin for a dollar.

I then added embossing powders in a few layers of pink and two colours of green. This is my first attempt - I think I might try with an embossing pen next time rather than a pad next time.

I used a white card blank, a layer of black card and the trimmed image. I added black soot Distress Ink around the image.

I will add this to the Let's Squash It! link

Happy Crafting!
