Watch your email for this week's image - CCC120 I have a dream!

This week I decided to add a page to my journal.
I had been painting pieces of card with gesso and then pressing stencils into them to give texture.
This was what I got when I placed one of these stencils gesso down onto a scrap piece of grey card afterwards..

I used a baby wipe to dab paint all over this.

I then added Distress Oxide around the edges (wild honey) and used the same ink to stamp the circles - a stamp from Crafter's Companion Splats and Stains. You might be able to see some black archival stamped with another stamp from this set top and bottom.

I then glued this into my journal.

Next I added the image from CCC120 - coloured with Copics and cut out.
The sentiment I trimmed, adding gold Zig pen and running it through the Big Shot in an embossing folder. Stampin Up Square Lattice. I then added a touch of distress ink (wild honey and broken china) before adding it to the page..

Happy Crafting!!

  1. Great page in your journal. I hate throwing craft stuff away, especially when it cost nearly £7 a pot! I might try adding some glue or gesso to those Inca pots.
