I did giggle at your and finally... Susan. Love the coordinating face mask and hair band set. Hope things calm down again soon and that everyone is as sensible as your family are being. Scary news from NZ this morning after 104 days with no cases. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #9
ReplyDeletethe masks look great! stay safe Helen #2
ReplyDeleteYes, I've made masks for all ages and getting them right for littlies is quite tricky if they're to fit properly. Love the fabrics you've used especially the rainbow one! So important at the moment, everyone seems to think we'll have another spike in October here.
ReplyDeleteThe little models are really lovely, N Gauge is teeny tiny (I have a train mad hubby and son!) so I'm impressed with your crafting patience!

That is funny about the craft room! I do love those miniature water fountains - would go nicely with a village scene of paper houses. Nice to see photos of your family - even if they're wearing masks. Do children have to wear them too? Here it's only compulsory for over 11's, but I guess the little ones would feel left out if they didn't get one! Looks like we might have a second wave here too, though some people are in denial as if that would make it go away. They think it's a big hoax - I don't understand people sometimes. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #19
ReplyDeleteReally just over 12s but no harm in the littlies wearing them...
DeleteHi Susan, great job with the mask making, they look fab. As do the miniature water fountains. I think we'll be wearing masks- well the sensible amongst us will- for some time yet, especially as we are heading towards the usual winter flu season. Stay safe, have a lovely week, hugs, Shaz #4 X
ReplyDeleteLove your miniatures, lovely idea for the water fountains. Will you send them on to him now they are done?
ReplyDeleteI just wish ewe were all having to be a bit more strict about the pandemic-it won't go away with a few doing the right thing and others not.
Stay strong and stay in safe and well
Hugs, Neet 8 xx
Those little stone fountains are gorgeous, never seen them before. Looks like you're both managing to keep yourselves occupied which has got to be good. Wishing you a very happy week and a lovely creative woyww, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteHi, Susan!
ReplyDeleteI must say, nice tidy desk (again)! You would truly faint at the sight of mine!!
Great job on the completion of all of those masks! I have many cut out but not finished. I hate it when I have to stop and thread the bobbin!
Stay safe and well!
Happy Wednesday!

Ooh I love the co-ordinating hair band and mask, really stylish. Sadly. I don't have an grand daughters to make these for, and think I would be a bit unwilling to appear in public like that.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing

I tried on the matching headband - and no it did me no favours!!
DeleteI love the giggle at the end :). You have a nice tidy desk considering all the crafting you do. Do you tidy away each day? I love pieces of driftwood, it must be great to craft with. Love those tiny fountains, you will have to make a tiny garden for them. Happy WOYWW Angela #23
ReplyDeleteI used to have a big table which always was covered... In this craft room I onley have various surfaces - easier if I keep tidying up. However if I took a photo or three now...
DeleteI did smile about the craftroom it's only since my Daughter left home that I actually have my own room to close the door on, the cool corner is actually in my kitchen, it's been my main crafty area for years and years... Great masks you made for the family, i've been doing the same but there's enough made for the moment. I hope you get to enjoy the pouring soon, I heard about the restrictions and hope it all goes away as quick as it came. The UK especially England has suffered horrendously. Take care, stay safe & creative.. Tracey #3
ReplyDeleteI love those little water fountains, Susan. The water looks very realistic. I love anything miniature! It sounds as if you are really busy, and I hope it isn't too hot where you are. I quite agree with your funny at the end. I've been doing this for months!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Well done on the mask making - they all look brilliant. My hubby makes model railways so I feel quite at home appreciating those little buildings! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteHI Susan, I love that your family all sent you mug shots in the masks :) oh boy those look so very tiny I am totally impressed with the detailing. ~Stacy #28
ReplyDeleteI had to look hard for the water fountains in your desk shot, couldnt really work out what I was looking for. But so obvious really! Love the bookmarks from your Aunt, how sweet. Tell me, do you sit or stand to create? If you sit..do you open the cupboard doors for your knees to go under?!! Wonderful collection of masks. The rate this is going, your lovely grandchildren will have grown into them before we’re clear!
ReplyDeleteI stand at this particular surface... in fact I stand lots when I think about it. Don't say that about teh length of lockdown... only two weeks of stage 4 restrictions and its awful...
DeleteThank you for your return visit, Susan - so glad you like the tiny carpets and my wacky lampshade lol!
